CUP’s Mission is Alleviating Poverty and Transforming Lives through Restored Relationships.
We exist because we believe restored relationships with Christ, self, others and material resources transforms lives with the goal of alleviating poverty in the community.
We Love * We Trust * We Serve * We Teach
Our core values permeate our culture, our community and our ministry. We choose to LOVE everyone we come face to face with, to TRUST over being suspicious, to SERVE those we lead and to TEACH through our interaction.
“Because we love you so much, we are delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8 (NIV)

CUP’s mission will succeed through four filters to success. We primarily serve residents of Commerce City. We uplift people through educational classes teaching life skills, job skills and spiritual formation. We foster restored relationships with Christ, self, others and material resources through community groups and lifestyle example. We partner with churches, organizations and businesses to bring a full range of resources to families living in material poverty, because we know we cannot be everything to everyone.
Each member of our team rises in the morning declaring It is no longer okay for us to ignore the needs of the oppressed, hurting and suffering! Jesus wants to rebuild and restore the streets and dwellings of Commerce City. Inspired by Isaiah 58, our rally cry brings us joy in our work.
